Meet our patient Skeeter. He is a 12 year old squirrel. In May 2005, he was diagnosed with an uncommon skin disease known as Epithiliotrophic Lymphoma. A complete surgical excision was performed to remove the affected skin under Sevoflurane anesthesia and he had an uneventful recovery. Epithiliotrophic lymphoma has never been reported in any Squirrel in the world and we are planning to publish this case in scientific journels to educate other Veterinarians, interested in exotic pet medicine. Skeeter is now doing great and we are happy to help our cute, energetic loving patient to provide many more years of companionship for his adopted family.

Visit our hospital to obtain free handouts regarding rabbit husbandry. Our doctors recommend neutering all male rabbits to reduce sexual activity and spaying all females to prevent incidence of uterine tumors. We also carry high quality OXBOW timothy grass hay and rabbit pellets.

Ferrets are very popular and wonderful companions. Ferrets reqiure annual vaccinations against distemper disease and Rabies. They are also susceptible to heartworm disease and must be placed on monthly heartworm preventive.
